Ryan and Cassandra had an absolutely lovely wedding at The Hacienda which was photographed by the uber talented Kristen Booth. From the colors to the sweet details, everything about this wedding will make you wish you were there. Instead of wedding favors, the couple donated money to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund in memory of the bride's late grandmother, Betty J. Bowe. Thank you Kristen for sharing this gorgeous wedding with us! Congrats to Ryan and Cassandra!
Cassandra: My Grandmother who passed away a year before our wedding wore a pin on her wedding dress gifted to her by my Grandfather that is a bear holding a pearl and since her wedding every female to wed in our family or joining our family wears the pin. My mom decided to pin it on my garter that we were not tossing and I wore it for the whole wedding. It was actually my something old. I also wore a ring of hers that was my something borrowed.
Cassandra: I had my breath taken away when I saw Ryan waiting for me at the altar! I actually don't think I even breathed through the whole walk down the Isle! But as soon as my Dad put my arm around Ryan's I was like this is it and got all giddy.
Ryan: I was so excited to see her! She was so pretty and I was so glad that she was going to be my wife!
Cassandra- My favorite moment was after the ceremony we walked down the isle to our cake, which was beautiful and we were able to steal a special moment and kiss and wipe each others tears. It was also a relief that it was finally done and we were man & wife.
Ryan- I was really proud to escort my new wife down the Isle, it was a very exciting feeling that she became my wife.
My top priority was the venue and my photographer. I actually choose my photographer Kristen Booth before I had a date or a venue! She found me on Myspace like over a year before our wedding and friended me. From there I followed her blog every week finding myself so excited to see what she had in store for her next blog post. I love her style! After we picked a date I contacted her immediately and told her I didn't have a venue yet but this was my date (a year in advanced) and I wanted to book her! My venue had to be outside, I always wanted an outdoor wedding! My mom & I checked out a few wedding venues but nothing wow'ed us. Then a patient at my work got married at The Hacienda in Santa Ana and was describing it to me. It is semi spanish style in setting so I wasn't to keen on that (I wanted more garden setting...or I thought I did) but we went and checked it out anyways. As soon as we walked into the front gate it took my breath away and we both instantly got giddy and were all smiles. I looked at my mom and we were both like this is it!
