About the shoot: "This styled shoot was really for my own creative outlet. I started shooting weddings last summer. I was so excited to be in the wedding market that I never wanted it to become mundane. I have a hard time during the winters with creativity here in Oregon, so I started planning a shoot. I teamed up with a great coordinator in the Eugene, OR area and she really helped my vision come together. Our styled shoot bloomed into such a colorful creative outlet for us all. I was aiming for a bright, rustic, and also elegant look. This styled shoot was such a perfect beginning to to all the vendors involved to begin with wedding season.
This day was inspired by my love of summer and sunshine-filled photos. I came up with the idea as winter hit Oregon and my mind was trying to escape the winter by dreaming up a shoot. I had completely fallen in love with soft peach colors combined with a pop of sparkly gold. Once I met with Becky Hart, owner/event planner at Event Crush, I knew we were a perfect fit! She completely understood my vision and concept for the shoot and helped my scattered brain of ideas make sense. Everything came together so beautifully and I couldn't be more thankful for the local vendors I got to work with. It was the perfect shoot to have before the wedding season started!"
