When we think weddings, we sometimes forget that it's always just about brides, but grooms as well. This sweet couple personalized their wedding to be a classy affair with elements of pretty, dynamic and fun atmosphere. Colorful socks for the groom and his party, as well as peacock features as a part of his bout, wedding decoration and their charming wedding cake.
We certainly love bold colors, outstanding table decoration and, of course, the stunning dress the bride wore on her special day! For those who still planning their wedding, we strongly recommend reading a little note from the bride. It's encouraging and inspirational!
From the Bride: When I started planning my wedding it was important that I personalize my wedding to reflect who Alex and I are as a couple. We wanted our wedding to be a romantic fairytale like classy affair. I knew I wanted candles, chandeliers, and feathers.
Since my husband and I share the same initials, A.S., we knew from the beginning we wanted that to be displayed throughout the entire wedding. Starting with the oversized "A.S." that framed our isle, to our wedding hashtag, down to our rhinestoned "A.S." cake topper.
Champagne was the main color with splashes of teal, and touches of peacock feathers. Alex and I both work in the entertainment industry, so our table names were chosen based on our favorite movie couples and the quotes that were on the cocktail napkins were our favorite movie quotes. To really seal the fairytale movie ending, our cake read "Happily Ever After."
My advice for brides planning is to have faith in your vendors (mine were great) and try to enjoy everything, even the stressful parts. The day is going to be beautiful if it reflects you both as a couple. Don't worry about what others might think. It's about you and your husband celebrating your love. Just enjoy yourself and have a fabulous time!
