From the photographer: "Jordan & Kellye's wedding day was filled to the brim with love. Few weddings I photograph contain this much emotion from the guests, wedding party, and the bride and groom. It was phenomenal to be a part of! I cried when Kellye walked down the aisle. It was all. just. so. beautiful! This is what the bride wrote to me before their wedding day describing her vision for the wedding. 'We envision a vintage feel for our wedding. We have blue ball jars and old antique books as our center-pieces. The ball jars will be filled with white wild flowers. We are making the seating chart using old vintage plates to write the names of our guests on it. The table numbers will be made from vintage frames and wooden address numbers. We are hoping to hang cafe lights and mason jars with candles in them from the trees while it gets dark. We are hoping to have a game area during our reception where guests can play corn hole, bocce ball, and croquet while enjoying appetizers. At the sign in table we are hoping to have an old vintage typewriter where guests can type out marriage advice, date ideas, and jokes to put into a jar that we plan on keeping in our home. Ultimately we want our wedding to be a time of celebration with our friends and family at what the Lord has done. Our desire is that Christ would be displayed throughout the ceremony and reception and each guest would know that they are so special to us.'"

Did you have any unique or special traditions?
One thing that was special was that I wore my grandmother's blue garter that she wore on her wedding day. My grandma past away 2 years ago and so wearing her garter was a special reminder of her on our wedding day. Both Jordan and I also prayed with our wedding party before the wedding started. This time of prayer was so emotional and meaningful. All of my bridesmaids were in tears and I felt so blessed to be surrounded by such a great group of women.
Describe how you felt when you saw each other for the first time:
Bride: I remember the feeling exactly. We waited to see each other until I walked down the aisle. I got a sneak peek though because I could see him through the door window before I walked down the aisle. The moment I saw Jordan I gasped and said he looks so handsome, I am so lucky to get to marry him and then I started crying at the joy I felt for being so blessed with an amazing man and how much love and support surrounded us that day.
Groom: Before Kellye walked down the aisle, the tears had already started to flow. It was a feeling I had never felt before because these tears were not of sadness, they were filled with much more than that. They were filled with realization of the weightiness of this moment: it was the most defining moment for our lives. They were filled with gladness: the wait was finally over. And they were filled with awe: she looked absolutely beautiful and perfect (and still does).
What was your most favorite moment from your wedding day?
Bride: Someone told us before the wedding to stop and take mental snap shots through-out the wedding and those will be the things you remember. Now looking back, those are the moments I remember. One of my favorite memories when we my Dad (who married us) told Jordan and I took turn around and look at everyone in the church. He told us that all these people had come because they loved us and supported us, and these people would be there to support us in the years to come. I felt so much love at that moment. Jordan and I both just looked out into the audience and cried and thanked everyone for how much they had given to us. I loved our siblings toasts too. Jordan and I had both sets of siblings give a toast and they were both hilarious and so special. Lastly, my brother and sister both sang as Jordan and I took communion and then our families came up and prayed together for our future marriage during the ceremony.
Groom: My favorite moment was seeing Kellye walk down the aisle because I had not seen her all day. I also loved that my groomsmen made up a choreographed dance when they got introduced at the reception that blew everyone out of the water. The toasts from our siblings were both heartfelt and hilarious. Lastly, one of my favorite moments was freestyle rapping before the wedding started with my brother and my future brother in law in the waiting room.
A little note from the bride:
I did most of the decorations myself and we saved a lot of money that way. We used thrift stores to buy old frames and mason jars. We went to yard sales on the weekends and bought old furniture then spray painted it and sanded it to use as our guest book table and type-writer table. We also bought our table cloths whole sale and then re- sold them after the wedding.
