The Kenilworth Club Wedding by Kina Wicks Photography

I simply adore this Illinois wedding by Kina Wicks Photography! The bride wore a Tara Keely gown and the florals? Just beautiful!

Their love story: Our wedding day was incredible from start to end and reflected how special we feel our relationship is. After almost five years of a mostly 'long distance' relationship, we were so excited to finally be starting our lives together. The day itself was perfect - 75 degrees and sunny after a week full of predictions of rain - and everything came together exactly as we had imagined. We were so grateful to have friends and family join us from all over the country and help us celebrate becoming one. We decided on a relaxed yet chic garden themed wedding, and the Kenilworth Club was the perfect venue for us. We are outdoorsy people so we loved having our ceremony and cocktail hour outside, and were obsessed with the classy but somewhat rustic feel that the inside of the venue had. It was cozy and romantic and couldn't have been any more beautiful! We spent a lot of time making the day reflect us with DIY touches and careful song selection, and couldn't have been more pleased with the beautiful flowers that one of my best friends and bridesmaids, Rachel Wyffels of Life in Bloom, put together for us. Our favorite moment of the day was without a doubt our first look at the Bahai Temple. The moment we first saw each other was much anticipated and quite emotional. We exchanged personal vows that we had written and it gave us an opportunity to share a very memorable moment together before joining our family and friends. The ceremony was also very special to us, especially since it was a family affair. Walking down the aisle with my dad was a moment I will never forget, and we loved that two of our grandmas did our readings. Our pastor was also my dad's next door neighbor growing up, so the messaging he did was very meaningful to us all. All in all, we are grateful of all of the love and support we've received and couldn't have asked for a better, more love-filled day!
