When we say love brings two loving hearts together, we literally mean it! Love means sharing so many beautiful memories together, but it also means bringing the best out of each other, and sometimes passion that we share can be that perfect fuel that makes our love burn!
This lovely sports engagement shoot by Rachel Lindsy Photography shows another way of approaching your engagement session! How fun and creative is it? And we're ready to say it's relaxing at the same time. Since most couples feel camera shy, this new way of capturing love will bring two loving hearts together and make them feel at ease allowing them to express their passion for each other as well as their favorite things to enjoy. Sports can clearly be one of them! Have fun together when being photographed and remember to build memories that will make you smile as you spend your lives right next to your better half!
Their love story: I remember every little thing about that moment. It was my birthday weekend, and I had my friends over to celebrate at my apartment. I was in my kitchen and I looked up to see an absolutely, breathtaking beauty come in as a guest of one of my buddies. Angela and I hardly spent a day away from each other after we met. We enjoyed each other's company more and more as time passed. Soon, it was hard to imagine time spent without her in my life. I can't thank God enough for delivering the best gift a man could ever ask for.
The proposal: I proposed to Angela at one of our favorite spots, called Top Golf, on the putt putt course. I had the managers place the ring in one of the holes. I purposely let her hit her ball in the hole first, and when she reached in the hole she found a little black box. Seeing her get teary-eyed was made me realize even more how much that moment meant. I got down on one knee and pulled the ring out of my pocket. She kept asking me, "Is this for real? Is this for real?" I will never forget that moment as long as I live.
About their engagement session: The engagement session was so much fun! We decided that outdoors in Highland Park would be a beautiful location for the first part of our shoot. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and Rachael made sure that our chemistry was felt on camera. The second location was at Top Golf where we got engaged. That shoot was a lot of fun, and we even wore our rival team's jerseys. I thought the second shoot really portrayed our relationship well. There was a lot of laughter and joking around throughout the entirety of the session. Wearing our pop out glasses made it even more unique. I can not say enough about our photographer Rachael Lindsy, and her easygoing manner. She truly is awesome to work with.
