FAU Stadium Engagement Session

About their engagement session: "Chelsea Wieland was our photographer and she was amazing. I was a bit nervous because I have never been photographed with a photographer but Chelsea made us feel really comfortable right off the bat. She took photos of Eric and I just talking and having fun together and if she always gave us suggestions. I had told her the different types of pictures that I wanted from the engagement shoot and I got that and more. Before we left the shoot, she wanted to make sure that we had gotten all of the pictures we wanted. We started off shooting at the Florida Atlantic University football stadium and took different photos around FAU. Our second location was at Morikami Park. Chelsea worked with us for about 4 hours. We ended up getting a ton of photos which looked perfect. I am excited to use them for our engagement party invitations!" -the couple

How he proposed: Eric knew that he wanted to ask Michelle to marry him at the Magic Kingdom since they are both Disney lovers. The proposal took place on their 4 year anniversary. Being this is where they took their first vacation together, and both huge Disney fans, Cinderella’s Castle seemed to be the best place to propose. Eric had been secretly planning the proposal for months, picking out the perfect ring and making sure everything was arranged. Eric told Michelle that he wanted to go to Disney for their anniversary and Michelle was excited to be able to spend 4 days with Eric at her very favorite vacation spot. Michelle and Eric had an amazing first two days at the parks, and they loved staying at the Animal Kingdom resort. Eric had told Michelle in advance that they would be eating at Cinderella’s Royal Table for dinner that Saturday night. Michelle was really excited to be eating in the castle for their anniversary dinner. As family and friends waited outside the restaurant , Michelle and Eric were taken upstairs to Cinderella’s Royal Table Restaurant. The waiter came over an put a plate in front of Michelle. On the plate filled with red rose petals, there was glass slipper engraved with the wording, “Will You Marry Me?” Eric told Michelle to read the shoe and he got down on one knee and proposed to her! As everyone in the room was watching, Michelle said, “Yes!” Eric put the most perfect ring on Michelle’s finger. She was very impressed. Right after the proposal, Michelle’s family as well as Eric’s family came out and surprised Michelle. Eric knew that it would mean a lot to Michelle to have their families in attendance and she could not have been happier! They had a wonderful meal at the castle and after dinner they went downstairs to watch the fireworks and go on some rides at the Magic Kingdom- it was the perfect ending to the most amazing night.
