"This trip surrounded a wedding I was photographing in Italy. My aunt and I had a whirlwind visit in Rome and when we arrived in Venice we took the vaparetto to San Elena where we were staying. After stashing our bags and freshening up, we lost ourselves in the quiet residential streets. Fresh laundry strung everywhere. Each window and door uniquely it's own. Here and there a kitty or snoozing dog. A gorgeous breeze off the water and locals strolling up and down the canals.
