About the shoot: "As a Florida girl, Danielle (of Danielle Nichol Photography) lives in a world full of coastal landscapes, beaches where golden sand touches kisses our aqua sky, winding nature preserves, blueberry farms and the occasional friendly alligator. The opportunity to explore Italy’s opulent countryside and capture some of life’s most romantic moments in historic settings was a thrilling experience. Danielle’s desire was to capture the spirit of excitement of visiting a new land and infuse it into a photoshoot that showcased inspiring talent from both American and local talent.
Jessica Gallo of Fine + Fleurie has been a resident of Italy for over a year and had the idea to combine beautiful Italian landscape with popular American-style table stylings. Her neighbor’s backyard garden provided the perfect spot for a wedding photoshoot with its rich verdigris and soft, filtered lighting. The table was adorned with a smattering of juxtaposing sizes and textures: petite pink flowers and hearty, wild leaves, metallic mercury glass votives, and a crisp white table runner. Fruit pastries from a local bakery added a sweet reminder of Italian setting. Model Brittany’s vintage beaded gown reflected the table’s demure character while crystal earrings Jessica designed sparkled brilliantly in the afternoon sunlight.
Sofia Barozzi of Il Profumo dei Fiori is an incredible floral designer that crafted the gorgeous floral arrangements and bouquet. Her floral creations captured American tastes with Italian flora. Each piece romantic and light, inserted itself like poetry in the shoot. The centerpiece added the perfect amount of whimsy and volume to the tablescape. Soft colors in the bouquet accented the pale pink sheath in the vintage gown. Our bride was enchanted as she carried around the simple and beautiful gift of nature."
