A Latvian Love Shoot

Their love story: The first time we met was 3 years ago on my birthday, we were dancing together all night long. Now every 11th of June we have 2 in 1, my birthday and our anniversary.
We are so blessed, that we found each other. We support each other in every step. I have always believed, that we all have one true love, one soulmate, our other half, the one that makes your world go round, for me it’s Aigars. We love to travel and now we are traveling together with our baby girl Luize, it is so much fun and we are enjoying time together as a family. In winter we snowboard and in summer we ride bicycles, swim and go to summer music festivals. We love long walks by the sea and now with our daughter Luize it’s happening very often.

About their shoot: The photo shoot in April was a new experience for us. It has been a long time since we have looked into each others eyes for so long and enjoyed every moment. We were in old town of Riga in early morning, it was so quiet and peaceful there. We loved to work with Nikita! We loved her ideas and technique, her photos are just amazing.

Fun Anniversary Shoot in Nairobi, Kenya

About their shoot: "The shoot was done by our lovely new friend Tanja Kibogo. It was to celebrate our second year anniversary. We had the photo shoot at a kids traffic park in Nairobi and as it was a public holiday we had the whole place free to our selves. It was great also because Tanja already had the shots she wanted in mind and we also had ours so it made for a fast and fun shoot." -the couple

About the couple: We love to have fun and hang out and watch movies. Robert loves directing and producing short films and I enjoy travelling and blogging about the adventures. We also love to try out new restaurants and new menus.

Marriage advice: Advise: Keep God as the centre of your relationship. When you focus on God He takes care of the rest. be ready to compromise for one another don't always have it your way :)

Romantic Temecula Anniversary Shoot

Then say love is like wine, it gets better with age. We get wiser, more patient, we take care of each other more and grow fonder of one another. Do we still get emotional when we get submissions from people who want to share their love story with us? Absolutely! It's special to us to learn more about couples in love, share their stories with you and get inspired!

This stunning couple is about to share their knowledge of marriage and wisdom carefully gathered bit by bit with our dear readers and lovers of truth, beauty and endless love. Make sure to read about this lovely couple, their practical advice, and enjoy the beautiful photographs captured by Sarah Sotro Photography.

About the couple: Well, we are one of those long-lost-but-reunited-high-school-friendships... I (Alanna) always remembered Matt as "the first guy to snuggle me"... we were just a couple of 17 year old punks sitting on our friend's futon when Matt pulled me in so tight that it made such a lasting impression. Little did I know he'd be the last guy to snuggle me. We have now been married for 11 months, 7 days. Our whole life is our favorite thing to do together! What matters most to us is our God. We love being in the Word together and playing in the worship band at church together, and that is a huge part of our busy schedules. We love spending time together and with our families. We love to make stuff: we love to crochet (yes I taught him and yes he's great at it!), and repurpose furniture. Staying healthy is huge too, we are proud to call ourselves gym rats!

Marriage advice:
Advice to men, from Matt: die to yourself, put your wife first always
Advice to women, from Matt: respect and follow the lead of your husband even when you know he is probably not making the best choice. Men thrive off respect and the role of leadership. Advice to women, from Alanna: try seeing things from his point of view. Men are usually simple; sometimes women and their emotions can convolute things. He just wants to do his best at taking care of you and providing for you. Let him. He is not 5 years old so don't talk to him like he is. Win him over by your pure and respectful conduct. Let him sit in front of the TV in his underwear for the whole day and don't complain. He needs that! Advice to men, from Alanna: Your wife is delicate. She may try to fight you and make you think she's tough, but she's not. Caress her and tell her you know its all gonna be ok. Know that her mind is a million different avenues going a million miles an hour and it may be up to you sometimes to help pick out and sort out each highway and attack it with her.

About their shoot: It was freakin' cold!!!!! Also, my hair and humidity had a reunion and it didn't go well. But looking at the pics, it doesn't even matter because we still have the memory of the wonderful experience. The best part for me is that it wasn't an engagement shoot where we couldn't touch too much or else we looked scandalous. It wasn't a wedding shoot where my dress was so tight I could die and we were both waiting for this day to be over so we could go and melt away the anxieties we'd been waiting for the whole time anticipating this wedding night. It was a 1st anniversary shoot: still in the honeymoon phase, still young enough to look foxy, and married enough to be ALL over each other! It was the GREATEST! It was nice to be directed to "just do what you do," "Make her laugh!" "Smooch!" and have those genuine moments captured. We loved every minute of it. It was so fun to turn a photo shoot into a date.

Anthropologie Inspirational Love Shoot

About the shoot: "We had such a great time! Although it was a hot day, we found some great locations that were so beautiful, you forgot there were Mosquitos everywhere trying to eat you alive. Diana did a great job (as always), making sure we were relaxed and comfortable. No shot felt awkward or forced and it was so special to later realize that we were expecting our baby girl at the time and didn't even know it!" -the couple

Chic Meatpacking District Anniversary Shoot

When looking at these incredible photographs of Nancy and Jeff captured by Brandi Schaffran-Webb of Alexis June Weddings it's hard to disagree that bold red makes brides look sensational! Beaded wedding gown embellished with delicate lace and embroidery, bright red flowers and berries, and curly hair.. oh what a stunning combination! We love red used in wedding decoration and other elements, but there's a special spot in our hearts for red gowns!

Representing many years of exploring New York city with cozy bistros and long walks in the chic Meatpacking district, this couple make us swoon over this elegant love story! Let's enjoy it together!

About them: This is a classic story of college sweethearts. Jeff and Nancy sat next to each other in the same seminar at Stanford – 10 Things I Wish I Knew Before I Went Into Consulting. Nancy was a bright-eyed-bushy-tailed junior eager to figure out what to do with her life, while Jeff was a Master’s student who had already sold his soul to finance. (He was just looking for easy credits.) After several minutes of conversing, they realized they were taking some of the same classes. And so began a beautiful “study-buddy” relationship. Over nights dissecting CAPM and Black-Scholes, they discovered a friendship, mutual understanding, true love.

About their shoot: Our shoot with Brandi was held on the High Line and in the Meatpacking district of New York. This is a special place for us as we live near the area and spend many of our summers walking the High Line, bar-hopping in the Meatpacking area, and enjoying NYC nightlife.
