About the shoot: "A few weeks before Love and Lace Bridal was to open, we put together a photo shoot to showcase some of the dresses at the salon and also emphasize its branding. In looking around for a location, we knew we wanted something spectacular...lots of green, lush surroundings and jaw-dropping scenery. We found all of that, and lots more, at The Folly in South Orange County. The Folly is a private estate which caters to small and intimate weddings. It was such a perfect backdrop for our shoot!
We chose to shoot three of our favorite dresses currently in the salon. The designers are Kelly Faetanini and Leanne Marshall. The Kelly dress is a vision of lace, with dimensional lace appliqués and a complete old-Hollywood glamour look, which fit the Folly perfectly. We were told by the exclusive event planner, Stacie of Gatherings by Stacie, that in the 50s and 60s Hollywood royalty would come to the Folly to dine with the owner and hang out...how cool! The other two dresses are by Leanne Marshall, who is a Project Runway winner (another Hollywood connection!), and who creates dresses that are completely unique, breathtaking and romantic!
