From the photographer: "This shoot took place at the beautiful Mines of Spain - a gorgeous nature preserve along the mighty Mississippi - and was styled with a ‘farm to table’ mindset. We wanted to create a fresh, organic look by combining some garden details with the simple beauty of the outdoors and family antiques. The gorgeous gown is a creation of Chaviano Couture, otherwise, all vendor contributions came from artists local to our Eastern Iowa river area. The session was shot on film and portrays the unique contributions of local vendors - a birch log floral display, hand drawn illustrations for the invitation suite, and a beautiful selection of ring styles from the local jeweler. The shoot is simple ad organic, highlighting a mix of eclectic styles - florals, produce, and a beautiful natural backdrop."
