Pink and Gold Wedding Inspiration

Who doesn't love pink and gold? Hard not to love these two colors when they are masterfully incorporated into stylish details, sequin linen, figurines and flowers. If looking at these photographs gives you as much inspiration as we got, then we know

Swoon worthy cutlery, candle holders, stunning furniture and blush colored cushions are all fruits of creativity of Botanica Floral and Event Design, and Mimi & Co. Assorted apothecary jars (which are the best to display candies!), cherry turnovers, marshmallows and charming squirrel figurine add so many prettiness to the whole atmosphere of the event.

And we must admit, we fell in love with the shoot from the very first moment we laid our eyes on it!

About the shoot: Villa Privata is nestled into a small canyon in the quaint town of Jackson, California. As you drive up to this Mediterranean gem tucked back into the hills, you really feel like you are transported to somewhere in the Italian countryside. Taking inspiration from the terra cotta walls and surrounding woods was easy inspiration.

We absolutely fell in love with the sequin linen we used for the guest table provided by Mimi & Co. Couture linens. From there, we played off gold accents, some vintage romance touches and soft, natural feeling florals. For the guest table, we added height with gold candelabras topped with white hydrangea, peach stock, dusty miller and branches to tie in with the surrounding. The tabletop featured gold & crystal accent pieces filled with matching florals and baby's breath accents. Linen upholstered chairs were tied off with tulle accents and baby's breath wreaths. We chose to place a settee on one side of the table to add interest for the bride and groom to be seated next to each other. Brass vintage goblets, flatware and vintage china with gold and pink rimmed edges were the perfect compliment to finish off the table. Garnishes of rosemary and lamb's ear add a bit of finish to the place settings.

We chose to display the sweets table on an architectural buffet and filled up the space with plenty of treats and eye candy! From turnovers to chocolate dipped wafers & marshmallow filled apothecary jars, a dessert table is a sweet spot to add little touches and detail that are special.

The hand-tied style bridal bouquet was created with the same look and feel to compliment the table; white hydrangea, rosemary accents, lamb's ear, roses and variegated pittosporum. The stems were finished off with natural jute and embellishing trim to compliment the colors.
