I love it when couples think outside the box when prepping for their engagement session. This lovely couple had their engagement session styled to make it extra special. Danielle Capito Photography photographed their session and did a great job capturing the love between them two!
From the couple: Danielle and Addison did such a great job preparing for our engagement shoot! Danielle showed up with heart shaped balloons and sparklers. Addison made beautiful arrangements for the table and even made a pretend wedding cake! Danielle's shooting style kept us at ease. We took some gorgeous engagement shots as well as a few funny ones.
Their love story: Roy and I are high school sweethearts. We started dating half way through our senior year. We dated all through college (most of which was long distance). When we got engaged I was living in the valley while Roy was in the Bay Area. Needless to say we were counting down the days until we would finally be living under the same roof! When Danielle asked if we wanted to do this shoot we were very excited because Valentine's Day is personal to us. Roy asked me to be his girlfriend the day after Valentine's Day (almost) six years ago.
The proposal: Roy popped the question New Years Eve morning (2011) after we woke up. He got up and told me to stay in bed and to try and fall back asleep. The next thing I knew he was down on one knee bedside asking me to be his wife. He originally planned on waiting until midnight but was too excited to wait!
