Winter Engagement Session

From the photographer: "She asked, and he said “Yes”! This is the romantic and unconventional story behind Sarah Jane and Trevor’s engagement. They both are lovers of the outdoors, and live a very laid back, "Portlandia" lifestyle and wanted their engagement photos to reflect just that. With corgi (Spencer) in tow, we headed up Mt. Hood to Timberline Lodge - a historic Oregon landmark that is rich in history and natural beauty. It was a gorgeous winter day on the mountain, and the chilly air only encouraged SJ and Trevor to snuggle closer - making our job a piece of cake! Their vintage inspired Christmas sweaters and Trevor's hand-me-down red checked flannel jacket (once owned by SJ's Grandpa) were the perfect color pallet to compliment the snow capped evergreens. Inside the lodge we all cozied up to lavished hot chocolate and hearty eats from the Ram's Head Bar, located on the second floor where the mountain views are breathtaking. As photographers, we feel a sense of accomplishment when we can successfully use a lifestyle shooting approach to produce a fine art set of images that capture the unique qualities of each couple."
