From the bride: Tae and I met in 2006 during our first week of law school and our six-year journey included almost three years of being long-distance, countless flights, and lots of moving. I remember waking up the morning of our wedding and not really believing the day was finally here. I thought I would be nervous walking down the aisle but it felt so natural, especially since I knew Tae was waiting for me at the end of it. Stepping out with my dad and feeling the cool spring breeze and seeing the smiling faces of all our family and friends against the backdrop of the Williamsburg bridge and the Manhattan skyline... it really took my breath away. We wanted to keep everything simple and clean to complement the amazing backdrop of the city our venue afforded. Our ceremony was held under a delicate and beautifully crafted rustic-style canopy right on the river and our centerpieces brought a little of the outdoors in with tall branches and hanging tea lights. As the sun set, the twinkling of the tealights merged beautifully with the city lights. Just as everyone who had gotten married previously had told us, the day went incredibly fast. But it truly was such a wonderful feeling to see all our family and friends in one place to celebrate our marriage. We definitely felt so loved that day and we couldn't have asked for any more.
