A vintage vacation was the inspiration behind this engagement session for Zivile and Eric. The stunning couple began dating long distance and they still love to travel, so this theme was the perfect fit. An old train station in Sparks, NV, provided the backdrop for the first look styled with retro clothing and luggage. For the second location at the Sparks Heritage Museum, the couple dressed up Mad Men style. Zivile and Eric were natural and fun loving around the train, then got into character perfectly for the serious and sophisticated look.
A special feature of this engagement session, is the DIY wedding countdown. Britta, the assistant photographer and designer envisioned a way for couples to display their engagement photos, while counting the days until their big day. Britta created a framed print with the type " _______ Days until the Wedding." The couple took tons of fun photos holding and posing with the frames. The final prints are framed behind glass and the number is filled in with a dry erase pen. The wedding countdown frame also makes a memorable bridal shower gift or engagement party decoration.
